He is risen! He is risen indeed!

Beautiful Easter Sunday morning in Les Cayes. Roosters crowing, dogs barking, children outside playing....almost like home. We are off to church after breakfast. This afternoon we will take the children to the beach.

Happy Easter. It is a beautiful sunny, sparkling snow day here in Geauga County. Trying to imagine your climate, cultural experiences. Look forward to hearing more, God Bless you all, Chris S.

Having gone to both the National Cathedral's Easter Vigil service last night, and Saint Paul's Lutheran service this morning, I can honestly say that I have had a blessed Easter myself. I am curious to hear all about what Haiti and her people are like, and how everyone is adjusting.

Have a blessed week serving the people of Haiti, and I think you will all be surprised to come back and realize that your service there taught you and gave you so much more than the work you did for the people gave to them. Its truly amazing what caring for one's neighbors (the original Greek for neighbor meaning something more like "outsider" than just someone who lives near you, in your community) can do for a Christian. The funny thing about God's commands is that they always make us feel so good when we follow them. Go figure, right?

Looking forward to hearing about your Easter worship experiences in Haiti! Messiah's services boomed for joy - and we prayed for Chelsea and your mission team in every service. Anxiously awaiting news,
